    ABOUT ME

  • My passion is anything and everything related to dogs. I've arduously studied cynology for 5 years and with the help of vet techs, trainers, and breeders. I am currently working on an informative dog website (http://k9domain.org/default.aspx) and also have been trying to build a dog owner/trainer community at http://k9academy.dogboard.net/forum.htm. Its all a work in progress.

I've had odd jobs in the dog related feilds...dog groomer/trainer etc. Just recently I finished a veterinary assitant program and externship, which opened an opportunity to help the vet tech at a local animal shelter. Sometime in the future I plan on getting a CPDT and/or APDT certification.

Other hobbies would include arts of all kinds, my favorite being still life drawings and graphic design.

I love meeting people that share the same interests and hopefully with this I've outlined what I love doing ^_^. Don't ever hesitate to leave a message if you wanna chat, I'd be more than happy to!

I saw that one. At one point the husky was flung so far around the tree that it almost wrapped full

Omg, I'd rather sit and watch 24 hours straight of CM than have to watch one episode with Brad
Pattison....that guy is horrible! There were training videos of him on the net...just really really harsh...

Well wish I could sit here and explain a little more on the dominance theory and your example in
particular, just kinda running short on time.lol. However like mentioned before, its not that dominant/...

No, there should be and it is there on MY page (and my TestUser account, which is a plain ol' account). I
am confuddled. I would love for others to chime in and let me know what they see. ETA: I logge...

Never really tried them....I already know what I like! :D Arctic breeds and spitz for me only :D But yes
its a good place to start if you don't know what you want. Then from there do a little research...

I still have that, even when I log in on my TestUser account. I don't know what to say about that... try
logging out and back in, perhaps? Shaking your computer really hard? lol... Kidding, but seriou...

That would have been awesome to talk to Dr D. I think he is such a gentle spirit. I don't follow his
training to the letter but he is def. one of my favourites. Mr. Milan was in town but needless to s...

ITA with Adjour on that. Dogs form a "loose hierarchy", something that often fluxates, and when people
mention dominance hierarchy usually what comes to mind is wolves....which also don't have a true ...
