    ABOUT ME

  • I knit, cook, play with my dog, am married to my political opposite, who loves Layla as much as I do so we can agree on something. I haven't had a dog since I was 15 and my husband hasn't had one in years either. He always had Rough Collies and Shelties, I had a big old lovable mutt as a child. He kept saying he didn't want a dog because of the sadness of seeing them age and die (he always mentioned the image of his Dad carrying their aged Collie up the stairs to go to the vet for the last time when he was a boy), I have wanted a pet for years but except for when I was a kid my pets had been cats, he does not like cats. I never dreamed we would have a wonderful dog, it is so sweet to have her in our lives. Unfortunately we live in a townhouse, which is quite spacious, but has no yard; but never fear I love walking and am devoted to exercise so Layla and I walk a lot, and go to the dog park, and go to a farm to play with her buddy Jethro, my friend's GSD puppy.

I don't look to others to keep my dog safe but she does have the right to be off lead in a free open

I think he looks like a lab/pitbull. He's adorable. I love the picture of him with his ball. Dogs are so
    sweet carrying their toys!
