Question olde english bulldogges

ziva is a 1 and 5 months old she is a olde english bulldogge we just had her breed in augest and since she was breed she is female dog aggresive as wel as she use to be my husbands buddy but now since the breeding she is mine what are the chances she is pregnate my vet is not being much help to me at all it has been 4 weeks since the breeding and he said that we could get blood work done at 4 weeks well i called to make the apt and now he say 8 weeks if he keeps changeing things the pups will be born befor we no some one plz help me

I'd just call another vet then. When you call to make the appt, tell them you need bloodwork done to test for pregnancy. I'd mention her young age as well and stress the importance of planning ahead for this in case she needs a c-section.

Pregnancy has a tendency to bring on behavioral changes. Good luck!

I'd definitely find another vet, if the current one keeps putting you off.

Find a new vet. First of all, at 8 weeks you don't need bloodwork to see if she's pregnant, she'll already be near the end of her term. If they're just going to blow you off, you need to find a more reliable vet. As Clark said, she's very young and it's not uncommon at all for English bulldogs to have problems giving birth and you may need to quickly get her to a vet for C-section among other things.
