Poodle Clipping

Hi everyone.
I was womdering if I could have some advice on clipping poodle well more to the point the blade number.

I do not clip her in the tradition poodle cut.
I have long experience with clipping cocker spaniels but the blades take a poodle coat too short.

Thanks

How long to you want the hair left? What blade were you using on your cockers? Retired groomer here--I can help you but need more info. By the way welcome to DD.

Thank you for replying. I don't want her super short. She still needs to look like a poodle or else what's the point. But i do want to keep her feet and face short and around the eyes.

I used a no 10 and a no 5 or 7 on the spaniels

i did find it difficult to get the poodle coat even.
So any advice would be hugely appreciated.

Thank you very much
