Ultrasonic Bark Collars

Hey guys! We've adopted a 2 year old Cairn Terrier. She's trained pretty well, except for barking at people. Especially kids! Looking for my THIRD bark collar. Was thinking about getting an ultrasonic collar, and I downloaded two or three apps for my phone. None of them had any affect on my her, besides her perking up a bit. Does this mean a real one won't work. Is there a difference between the phone and the real thing?
Thanks, guys!
(please no judgers)

There is a difference between a phone and the real collar, but mostly it is because normal thing very often has more than one type of stimulation. For example you can get vibration and tone in one device like this one here and I strongly recommend this type of collar.

I don't think training dog using collar is a great idea. Instead of you can use a dog whistle or treats for training. For the sample, you can use a whistle to train him to come very easily.
