Shih Tzu Licking Paws :(

My 6 Year old Shih Tzu keeps licking his paws, i have read up on the internet on what can help him i have tried bathing his paws in backing soda doesnt seem to have helped him.
Has anyone got any ideas . Ps. I have not changed his food.

This could be a sign of anxiety, or boredom. Does he get outtings and/or training sessions daily? Have you seen a vet about this?

Not really. Sometimes my dog licks his legs/feet a lot, usually after a few days of less activity or some event that he found difficult, but it usually goes away. I think allergies can also make dogs lick their paws.
