Homemade Peanut Butter and Carrot treats

Hey Everyone..

We recently made Luna some homemade peanut butter and carrot treats...

Here is the Recipe

Luna's Homemade Peanut Butter and Carrot Biscuits!

Ingredients
2 Cups of Wholemeal Flour
1 1/2 Heaped Teaspoons of Baking Powder
1 Egg
2 medium sized Carrots (grated)
1/2 cup of Natural Peanut Butter (it's 100% Peanuts!)
1/4 cup of Pineapple Juice (optional extra)

Method
-Preheat a fan forced oven to 180 Degrees Celsius
-In a bowl mix the flour and baking powder
-In a separate bowl mix the Egg, Grated Carrot, Peanut Butter and Pineapple juice. Stir until all combined.
-Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and mix well, it will form into a dough.
-It may be easier to use your paws for this, I made daddy use his hands, work the mix til it all comes together and then transfer to a piece of baking paper with a sprinkling of flour on it.
-Continue to work the dough til it is nice and together, then roll out to desired thickness. Daddy and I didn't have a rolling pin so we improvised with a glass and two sheets of baking paper.
-Cut out the shapes and place on baking tray lined with baking paper.
-Cook for 10-15 minutes until nicely golden brown.
-They can either be soft or crunchy depending on how long you cook them, if you like your biscuits a bit crunchier then cook them for an extra few minutes
-Allow them to cool before eating, Delicious! Daddies even tried them and they like them too! I told them that they were for me though.
-This mix made lots of cookies, so we are testing them out, some are in the cupboard, some in the freezer and some in the fridge, just to see how they go!

-For a warm day, or just for something a little special, these are delicious straight out of the freezer!

She loves them! Has anyone else got some great treats?

Someone had posted the Sweet potato chips awhile back and my dog loves them. You just cut a sweet potato into about 1/4 inch slices and cook on a cookie pan in a 250 oven for 3 hours, then bag them and keep in refrigerator for handy special treats. ( it is best to slice a thin layer off first and then turn it over to stabilize it while cutting)
