He is such a good boy besides his potty habits. Anyone have any suggestions? Im at a lose because my other dogs caught on quite quick to the crate training...

First off, stop scolding him. When he goes in the crate, your scolding him is making the crate seem like a punishment, rather then the happy den it SHOULD be. Just pick him up, take him outside, and give him a command, (go potty, go pee, something to that affect) and treat him each and every time he does. Have you tried feeding him in the crate? Dogs won't (usually) eliminate in the areas where they eat/sleep, so this might help him a bit. Just stop scolding him, it's not helping.
