We had some down time at work today (Vet Clinic) and a fellow worker was playing with her new pup. Since I had my camera I plopped down on the floor and started snapping pics. There are quite a few cute ones, but this is definately going to be a new painting, tenatively titled "Thanks for the New Collar, Mom."

This yet to be named pup (or rather yet to have the same name for 48 hours - or as I call him "Tyson-Cassious-JoeBoxer-Nelson") just got his new collar today, and could not go 2 minutes without scratching at it!
This presumed purebred Am Bulldog was brought to us by a lady who rescued him from an aquaintance who was ready to dump him and his littermate in the desert. They barely had them a day when they realised this one was sick. Unfortunately it was Parvo, and they couldn't afford to treat him, so they signed him over to us. We treated him - and as always seems to happen, one of the staff fell in love and now that he's all better she's taking him home to her 1 yr old Boxer who will just love a play buddy! I love happy endings!
