well it seem that romeo wouldnt get along with my sammy because sammy refused to play back which was b/c he played so rough and sammy was so over-powered by him. that refusal is what would trigger romeo to start snarlin and everything, he just wanted sammy to play back. so it wasnt aggression at all romeo had, it was just a bunch of hyped up rough play... i took romeo to a friends house today who has a humongous 8 month old german shepard pup and they got along perfectly. the gs would play back but at the same time never actually nipped him back, he tolerated all of romeos biting w/no problems at all... we let them play for about an hour and im happy to say it wore my lil pup out :) . it also seemed to help out with all his anger tantrums... since he got back home he hasnt tried to ankle bite anyone or bite in general... now my only problem is gettin him to learn that not all dogs like to play rough, especially lil ones, so maybe he'll start to get along with my maltese. he starts obedience school in 2 weeks so hopefully he'll learn there with all the other dogs he'll interact with...
