Just curious..what does everyone do for a living?
I have worked in the restaurant field almost my whole life. I have performed every job in the place, waitress, busing, dishwasher, cook, janitor, manager. I have taken the last 3 months off work, we will be moving next week. I sent out a couple e-mail resumes and got calls back from both. So I am moving on Tuesday and have 2 interviews on Wed. next week. One is for a restaurant that has been closed due to no cook or manager, the other is for a brand new, not even open yet, sandwich shop. So it looks like back to work I go..I have enjoyed the time off. Played with the furkids alot and with my grandchildren. I was really hoping the jobs would not call, I kinda liked the temporary retirement..

Good luck with the jobs hope you get them.
I am a primary school teacher. Up until a few months ago I was working 3 days a week but I am now back to full time at least for a while.

I am a retired nurse of 20 years. Took a dabble working for my brothers mortgage business- Thats just not me. Started my own company selling pet products. Most days I am Customer Service, Sales and Marketing Director, I like the Title President or CEO but the rest of the family doesn't think so. I think the dogs are the only one who respects what I do.
I love it and suggest anyone to start their own business in something they love then 60 plus hours a week will be like fun.Rio&Nickysmommy

I own a dog daycare and training facility in downtown Dallas. I have to agree with rioandnicky's mommy that being your own boss is nice. I started out working from home and now have a 3200 square foot building. My dogs and i enjoy going to work every day. I have only strayed from working with dogs once, for one year I worked as a dentention officer for the Kaufman Co. sheriff, but other than that I've been a vet tech, obedience instructor, K9 handler, and hands on dog trainer at a big facility. I like my latest job the best, though. More money and more fun!
