Besides dog related communities what other forums do you frequent?

I participate in a Jeep forum and a home brewing forum quite a bit.

I hang out at some OAI forums (online auction industry), but they got mean and full of ornery people who bash and fight all the time. It gets old.

I was involved with ebay, knives, archery and k9's but I am strictly dogs now.(Oh except for the cat board).:( I've had too many irons in the fire so I had to cut back to provide more time to train. These boards can be addicting but with 5 dogs to train at the moment my activities really have to be prioritized. I do believe a chat board would be nice, perhaps I can add that to my site if we don't pick one up here.:D

I go to pangea reptile forums, which I have to say is awesome! Everyone there is friendly and helpful so if any of you reptile lovers ever need any advice or help, that's the place to go. Plus, Matthew Parks, the owner, doesn't allow any bickering or fighting of any kind, won't tollerate it, and is very good about keeping it out of the forums.

I also go to a local neigborhood forum occasionally, and to craigslist.org, and I have a small forum on meetup.com where I am the organizer of the 'urban dog scouts' group. We're brand new and have 7 members and we have a little message board there. I hope to have quite a few members before our first meeting, then we can start planning fun scouting trips!

Yeah, we just started the group on Saturday, and there were 44 people on the waiting list for a group to form  so I think our group will grow. 7 members in 3 days isn't bad. I consider myself to be pretty good at advertising and what not, so I don't think it will take us long to get to be a good sized group. I also am trying to get my clients to join, too, so I emailed about 30 of them with invitations. We're going to do fun stuff like have playdates, picnics at the lake, and field trips to the state park for hikes and camping. I can't wait for fall so we can try to plan a camping trip!
