When my pup gets really excited like when a stranger comes over she lets a little out while she walks around.
What is a good way to correct this problem?

That is excited/submissive peeing. You can not correct her for doing it as she probably doesn't even know that she is. Most pups grow out of it. I had one that did. Luckily she grew out of it.
Best you can do is when you first come in totally ignore her and get her outside asap and do the same when other people come over this way she doesn't get as excited. Another option is crating when you know someone is going to come in until she is calm
I know it can be a real pain, but there isn't much else you can do

I agree- a side note to that- It is a submissive behavior, a sort of gesture that one dog would give to another, that says 'hey. I'm submissive and not going to hurt you'. In her mind she's doing something normal. It's also important to note that aside from not correcting her, you should not try to console or talk to her at all. Completely ignore her, because if you correct her, she'll think she's not peeing enough and needs to appease the dominant dog by peeing more, and if you pay any positive attention to her (by saying 'calm down', or 'it's ok', she then thinks 'oh, I must be doing the right thing', and then the behavior continues as it is. It is best as the others said, to completely ignore it, and try to ignore her when she gets overly excited. Often times as a pup gets a little older and gains a little confidence in themselves the problem goes away. I find that training helps a lot with the confidence issue, too.

Thanks for advice everyone. I don't want to crate her when people come over because I want to work with her on greeting people correctly. Other behavior I have been correctting with ease but she seem like she knows she is doing it. Hopefully she will just grow out of it.
