We are a group of indiviuals from all over the country saving animals on death row at Georgia's gas shelters. Last year over 90,000 dogs and cats were killed in Georgia's shelters and many of them use gas for euthanization. We are Death Row Dog Rescue, Inc. Since September 2005, through the generosity of people like you, we’ve saved over 600 dogs and many cats and have helped get them placed in loving, forever homes.

Are you associated with Oregon Humane? I helped rescue one dog from Spaulding in association with them. They were amazing people and I am honored to have met them. My contribution was minor - I signed up to be last chance for a sweet old lab who was an owner surrender. No-one wanted her. I have 3 other dogs and 5 cats so it was a leap of faith for me, but one look at the old girl and I knew I had to do something. Lots of incredibly special people joined together to pull her from the kill-shelter and fly her from Georgia to Oregon where the temporary foster (and her own dogs) fell totally in love with the old girl. This wonderful lady was so worried that I would take this dog from her. I took about a second to think it over.... "Hmm is this old dog better off with someone who loves her madly or with someone who has never met her?" It was a no-brainer. I think old Gypsy won the dog lottery. She went from being unwanted and about to be euthanized, to having 2 good homes willing to accept her.

If I can ever be of help please let me know what you need and I'll do my best to come through for you.
