Hi,

I'm sorry but why would you buy a mixed breed dog when there are plenty that need rescue. Take a peek on petfinders you'll find plenty of rot mixes and lab mixes and maybe some that are rot X lab as well.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong.

What questions exactly do you have and why that particular mix?

Yes, I wonder why a specific mix too. Do you know a dog you especially like that is this mix? If so, that doesn't mean you will replicate the individual by getting the same mix. That doesn't even work with purebreds!

There are a lot of great, adoptable dogs out there. Perhaps you can narrow down what you are looking for in size, coat, temperment, etc. and then contact rescue groups and shelters.

I have 2 rott/labs and they are wonderful. My advise, if you are looking to become a rottie owner, be prepared to take the extra time and train your rottie. Rottweilers are one of the smartest breeds and when trained properly and given the right socialization they will be the best dog you'll ever own. I would warn against getting a rottweiler if you have little or no intention of training. You will only set yourself and the dog up for a devistating outcome. Rottweilers have gotten such a bad reputation due the owners they end up with. Please be willing to provide a lot of time to your new rottie. If you work a lot or you don't like to exercise, this is not the dog for you. They need tons of socializing and tons of exercise. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask. Good luck!
