Dog Gone...

Hi,
I have a pure breed Schikepperke (sp?), who is the smartest and most protective dog I have ever had. I love little Maxi, she is my baby... but she will get out of the fence at least once a month and be gone for a 2-3 days at a time... It breaks my heart not knowing if she is ok! Is there anyother thing other than chaining or spending hundreds of dollars on some electronics to try and break her of that?

I always go outside with my dogs or stand in the doorway and watch them.

Is there a certain part of the fence where she escapes from that you could reinforce with an extra panel of wood or are there several places she can escape from?

The only way to ensure she will not get out of your yard is if she is supervised whenever you let her out...

Thus far you have been lucky and she has made it home safely, the next time the situation may have a different outcome...
