Ok, been trying to get something going in this Chit chat area and nobody response. So maybe if we learn more about each other then we can find Chit chatty stuff to post here.
Well a little about me:
Im 40- the number sounds large to some but it's really not old..
Job- was a nurse for 20 years retired and now own an online pet business which I love. I think I give away and donate more then I make- good thing my hubby still works
Yes I married- to a Great man
Location- NY Long Island- They say never give out to much personal info over the internet (not that I dont trust you all but ya never know if a cypo creep is learking around.
Pets- Rio and Nicholas
Things I love to do: eating by far is my favorite. ( I have a real medical condition that keeps me thin- thank goodness cause I eat alot) I am a certified Chocoholic)
I am a bad speller when I type - sorry but thats me..
I love to travel, love to go to Casino's if I can. Love Video poker. Love watching poker tournaments on Tv but cant play with real people cause they are just to slow for me. I have no patience. I gave that all to the patients I cared for over the years.
I'm a reality TV nut- I have a TV on 24 hours a day- no kidding even when I sleep. Love football and watching sports.
Ecercise- waking up.. only kidding- love sports even at my age- Bowling, basketball, bicycling ect..
Plans for the future- teach my dogs agility, grow my business, Not sure if I should cut my hair short its long now? Traveling, And most important adopting a child which we are looking into.. See I am not always silly
I love to play with kids, I am a very animated person. Everything I pick up in my hands gets named and has a voice. My dogs love it. Well I think that is enough about me right now, just thought I would let you know alittle bit about me since we hear about our dogs all the time. You may not be intrested that ok. I just think its fun getting to know people..

49yrs old--most days I still act like I am 20 something--other days I am older than dirt

Married for 29 yrs to the same man--no I am not a saint, but I think he is ;) 3 kids-2 boys 1 girl--28, 27, and 25 daughter is in the middle
3 grandkids-8 - 4-and 18 days old
2 dogs-Reggie,2 yr old IW and Winston 8 yr old BT
I have done restuarant work my whole life, from dishes to managing, currently off due to moving
Favorite things are my dogs, my family, gardening, reading, and cooking
Like to travel as long as Reggie and Winston can come along
Love music-listen to just about everything
Like to watch criminal based shows on tv and the animal planet
Live in Upper MIchigan
Love foootball and high school wrestling
Well that is about it

I am busy moving today. It is only a 50 mile move. We are moving back into the house that we own and are going to commute to work . Should be interesting!! My daughter is going to come over during the day to play with Winston and Reggie. She works nights so it works out good.
Reggie will love the new house. It is alot bigger than where we live now and she will have room to run. :D
Winston will take a little while to get around because of his blindness. It won;t take him long though. He is pretty adaptable.
I will be close to 2 of my children and my 2 granddaughters. So this is good.
I will be offf the computer for a few days--disconnecting it this evening and cannot hook up until Monday.

Well, the move is almost done!! Thank GOD!!
Reggie and Winston are adjusting quite well. Reggie especially loves the fenced in back yard to run in-:D
We had all kinds of company yesterday and Reggie was quite well behaved. Where we were living we didn't have much company so it was really hard to get her to understand how it works when someone comes over. She is catching on quick though. She was totally fasinated by the newest granddaughter. Myah is only 3 weeks old and Reggies has never seen a baby. She passed the "test" in baby's though :) I was worried she might theink Myah was a toy because she is so tiny..but Reggie knew she was not. So much for my worrries ;)
Well, just wanted to check in ..need to get back to unpacking:rolleyes: even though I would much rather stay on the computer...

Great the move has gone so well. Glad Reggie pasted the baby test. My Rio has never been close to a baby and that has always worried me but then he is gentle with everything smaller then him. Moving is fun but exhausting. Hope to see you back real soon.

I only have about 15 more boxes to unpack!!
Winston, my Boston, fell down the stairs this morning!! :eek: He is walking ok and seems alright--My husband had called and he thought he lost the check book so I came down to look for it, Winston was still sleeping, I found it and before I could get back up stairs to carry him down I heard the slide. He has a very hard time with steps, we usually carry him up to bed and back down in the morning. He is not acting any different than usual though so I will keep and eye on him .
I got some adorable pictures of Reggie with my granddaughters last nite. When my daughter comes over I am going to have her show me how to get them on GP and here. I am kinda computer illiterate..:rolleyes:
Well, I need to go out to the back yard and clean up all the dog poop the tenant we had left for us :( ..she had a Rottie.. if people pick it up right after it is dropped it makes life so much easier and cleaner ;)

Well, Winston is just fine..jumping and moving as usual. Reggie will not come down the stairs in the morning until I pick Winston up to carry him. She sits in front of the steps so he cannot get down.

well i'll be 24 yrs old next month, which i guess that's about the age that i feel...

married at the moment- we are filing for a divorce shortly
kids-no kids, thank god not yet cause that would make things harder
1 niece and she is the most precious little chubber in the world, she'll be 1 the end of november
2 dogs-zeke, and lilly
1 cat- she looks like a snow leopard and has baby blue eyes, she's fat and happy!!! her name is saki
i've worked many small jobs while being in high school and college, my tow favorites were in a nursing home and a gun factory, now i'm in the military
my favorite things are music, friends, family, dogs of course well actually most animals, sports watching and playing...
i like to watch the discovery health channel, and animal planet, some cartoons like the simpson and such

one of these days i want to hike the appalachian trail from start to finish i just have to start saving up for the adventure... i think it would be a beautiful thing... hopefullly i'll accomplish that by the time i'm 30..

Okay. I'm 24. Bought a house here in GA about a year ago. No kids. My dog is enough..aka super spoiled. I love to play in my garden. It's getting cooler so no more planting this season. But honestly I work 24/7.

I'm 26....I've been married for almost a year and a half to a very understanding and patient man (I wouldn't marry me! :p )
We bought a house a while ago and we're fixing it up.
kids--no kids for me yet (he has two), but I have a niece that I completely adore who is 8.
3 dogs---2 labs (Drake who is 4, Dale who is 2) and 1 Irish Wolfhound (Fiona who is 3 months)
3 cats (maybe you're seeing why my husband is so patient?)
I live in Washington, on Whidbey Island.
I'm in the military, but I'm getting out because it's not for me and it never really was. I'm going to finish school and then hopefully become a librarian.
I love to read! I like to watch movies.
Someday....I hope to get involved in Lure Coursing and someday after that I would like to show Irish Wolfhounds. I went to some dog shows when I was looking at breeders and thought it was the coolest thing I've ever seen.
