Hi,I am Barry from Bowmanville,Ontario,east of toronto.We have a Bichon Frise,his name is Fritz and he will be 4 on June 3,same as my mother's.We bought him on August 8,2002,4 months after we put our 1st dog,Ruffles a Black Miniature poodle to sleep due to od age at 15 and a half.We were not going to get another dog for awhile,but my Dad missed Ruffles so we got Fritz as we had friends who have a Bichon and we decide to try the breed out.he has been a great companion.Fritz likes snoozing besidse you and cuddling up to you,loves playing with squeaky toys,monkey and a dog.He can sit on his rear like no other dog i have seen,sits in our bay window and watches people and dogs go by.If there is a dog he don't like or somebody is wearing a hat,he will stand right up in the window and bark.He will bark or look at you in a way that he wants his water dish filled or when he has to go out.Dad will get him out of his cage in the mnorning and will bring him to their bedroom where fritz will crawl under the covers for a hour or so.He will then have some porridge that dad leaves on a plate for him and he eats it.That is a little about Fritz and we hope to make many new friends here.
