Hello! My name is Dana and I am from northeastern Ohio. I have three [permanent] dogs Missy, Maddie, and Carly.
Maddie has been living we me the longest. She's a Cocker Spaniel from a breeder, I got her when she was 8wks and have raised her, she'll be 4 in April.
Carly was supposed to be a foster dog, I got her at the tender age of 3 or 4 weeks when they mother died of complications from birth and the byb mother wanted to dispose of the puppies. I couldn't day part with her; she's my "issues baby." She's very tiny, has an irregular heart beat 'sometimes', her eye lids are mildly curled under so it irritates her, but is not bad enough for surgery. She'll be two this year.
My newest addition is Missy. She's a German Shepherd from a dog pound, was an outside dog, had health problems such as lack of nutrition, whipworms, and parvo, but is now thriving inside healthy and learning quickly.
I also have a cat that wandered into my house one day. I kept him and have utilized him in readiness for the dogs I foster. Our best guess to her age is about 3yrs old.
As my username suggests I've been fostering dogs for years. While I don't have one currently, I'm sure you'll hear endlessly about my past fosters & pics and updates of new ones.
