New from Texas

New member here from Texas. We currently train dogs for search and rescue and law enforcement scent detection dogs. I have 2 bloodhounds, 2 bouviers, 2 belgian tervurens, a belgian malinois and 1 very spoiled basset hound.

We are in the process of building a resort in North Central Texas (1 hour NW of Fort Worth) where handlers/families and their canine companions can come for a restful, indulgent vacation or a unique learning experience. Our facility will include housing and meals for you and your dog in an environment exclusively dog-friendly. Our working cattle ranch includes 300+ acres with plenty of opportunities for long walks on our wilderness trails, team building exercises on our confidence courses, scent games, search and rescue and much more! A great retreat for you and your dog or book group housing for your kennel club retreat. We will host seminars for any canine training. Let us know if you are interested in more information. We plan on opening for business in the fall of 2006 so get on the mailing list by sending your information to deputydog1@digitalpassage.com with "All Star Ranch" in the subject line.
I look forward to participating in the discussions on this forum and seeing you soon at the "ranch" in North Central Texas.
Woof!

Yes, we will have a website for the ranch soon. For now, you can get info on Search and Rescue training at www.taskcanine.com
We train all breeds of dogs for scent work. Our bouviers are too old now to work but were excellent working dogs in their younger years. Their specialty is guard work.
We hope to welcome all communities of dog enthusiasts to the ranch in the near future. We just got tired of taking vacations that didn't include our dogs,
