RE: Introducing “Four Paws Kingdom” – The first and only dog dedicated campground in the United States
Hi, my name is Meik and I would like to introduce us and our “doggone business”.
After many years of traveling with our two Corgis (Schroeder and Linus), visiting paw parks and dog meetings, doggy beaches
and of course experiencing myriads of “dog friendly” campgrounds, my wife and I decided in 2001 to start a business venture
unlike any other. All those years we were looking for a place that didn’t yet exist – so we had to invent it!
“Four Paws Kingdom” (opened in 2004) has been designed with only one purpose in mind:
To provide canine enthusiasts with a natural, fun and comfortable outdoor environment that both humans and their pets can enjoy.
Four Paws Kingdom is beautifully located on a 32-acre piece of property in the foothills of the North Carolina Mountains. Only minutes away from Rutherfordton, Spindale and Forest City, Four Paws Kingdom is a prime destination for RV enthusiasts looking for mild summer breezes and beautiful landscapes. Our 2006 season starts April 1st – November 27th,06.

Designed as a combination of full services campground facilities and a wide variety of dog amenities, Four Paws Kingdoms is also a haven for outdoor and dog enthusiasts who love to play, hike, train or simply have fun with their four legged family members.
Dog amenities include:
· 2+ acres of fully fenced, off-leash, dog park
· small dog playground
· a champion size agility ring
· an AKC style Rally – Obedience training course
· a 2 acres, fully fenced, off-leash dog swimming pond
· a doggy bathhouse with DIY grooming stations
· 20+ acres of on property hiking trails
Campground amenities include:
· 40+ full hook-up sites with SAT/TV
· campground office with gift shop and art gallery
· state-of-the art bathhouse with individual bathrooms and showers
· coin laundry with commercial Whirlpool washers and dryers
· pavilion with activities every weekend
· 3 camping cabins for rent
· FREE WIFI internet Hotspots and WIFI access on many sites
· fire ring sites available (upon request)
