My Shep-Rott-Lab mix has a problem with toy aggression. She is socialized with other dogs & my roomate has a dog & she absolutely loves to play with her. But, when I take her to the dog park, if she finds a large toy (like a rope toy or large soccer ball), if she thinks that another dog is trying to take it from her, like if they start to play-chase her, she gets aggressive & barks/snaps at them to get them to back off. I usually just put all of the large toys out of reach when I first get there & she seems to be ok, but I'd really like to fix this problem. I don't want her to get so irritated when other dogs try to play with her if she happens to have a toy in her mouth. Any suggestions??
