I have an 11 week old border collie. She has done exceptionally well at becoming potty trained. However, 2 things.
1. She hasn't peed inside in a week or 2, but she keeps going #2 behind a chair in my living room, even after we have taken her out to potty. How can I better train her to go #1 & #2 while out for "Potty time"?

2. Like I said- she hasn't peed inside in a week or 2, but then all of a sudden yesterday, she climbed up on my bed, and peed in the middle of it? Was she mad, or was this just a freak accident.

Anyone who can provide some insight into these issues- I'd greatly appreciate it.

Yes, she was most likley not happy, having some anxiety, or a bladder infection.

As for the #2 issue, get her on a regular feeding and pooping schedule so she eats and poops the same time every day. That way she can learn to go outside on cue at the same time.

My 2 puppies eat at 7am and 7pm after long walks and poop the exact same time every day at 6am.

How often do you feed your pup ? Only twice ?

I was told to feed baby food to my pup 4 times a day and he poops late in the night when I am not watching him :-(

How often should I feed my pup ?

Once in the morning, and once in the evening should be enough. This is what my vet told me when my dog was a pup.

I was told four times a day as well. 2 times a day just doesnt seem like enough for a growing pup.

Mm, I was told 4 times a day when we get the pup, but very small amounts. A bowl of puppy milk in the morning for brekkie (I think I may partake in that exercise, because warm milk has got to be good for the soul.) and then some more food food in the mid-morning after we've had a play and a nap, then more playing and another nap (For us both, I think!) and then some more food, then more playing and napping (I may just sketch him napping at that point because I'm sure I didn't learn to life-draw for nothing) and then an evening supper before settling down for the night. Obviously potty breaks and training will ensue throughout the day. I read somewhere that you shouldn't train your puppy until he's three months old, and sometimes a YEAR, but I find that hard to believe. Training as soon as he gets home with us will be the best as I want to get him into a good routine and make it fun for both of us, as well as teeth cleaning and getting him used to being brushed. 3 months is long enough for him to get into bad habits! My mama will not be impressed if he finds her Jimmy Choos to be the nicest thing on his gums, so chewtoy training will also be immediate! I've already bought a puppy kong and some puppy biccies to put in it because the stuff'n'paste doesn't appeal to me, that seems a lot like doggie sweeties which I wouldn't give to a child, so a biccie should be best. Right, rant over! Thank you for indulging me!

I know that this is not the way most professionals would recommend feeding them, but I feed my dogs "free choice". there is no sqabbling over whose bowl is whose, and they can nibble whenever they are hungry. they don't overeat, and the system works very well-for us. I can't say that it is a great system, just that it is successful in my particular case.
