Hello,
My name is Lisa and I live in north central MA with my 2 boys Indy & Tucker, along with 3 cats and a ferret. Indy was on death row in Indiana when I came across him on Petfinder over 1 1/2 years ago. Tucker came from a bad puppymill situation (are there any good ones?) and was taken in by a Lab rescue in Kentucky and put up for adoption once the trial was over. I adopted him exactly one year ago.
They are my pride and joy and my heart dogs. Because of them I got into pet transports and now I also coordinate them. It is such a rewarding experience helping bring home new family members. I especially love having the last leg of a transport because that means meeting the new owners and seeing the joy on their faces as they wrap their arms around their new furkid.
I look forward to seeing how this new forum grows. There can never be too many forums like this where other animal lovers come and gush about their babies without feeling silly.
