Hi! My husband and I just adopted a puppy from a shelter in Rehovot, Israel yesterday. He seemed in pretty good health at the shelter and they assured us he had been checked by a vet very frequently. They also told us he had the second of three common vaccinations (though they didn't tell us what it was for!) on Thursday and that he could NOT go outside for another 9 days, which is when he has the next vaccination.
We have never owned a pupp before and don't know how much he should be eating, but he isn't eating alot. Yesterday he ate maybe 10 pellets out of his dish. He is drinking relatively regularly. He hasn't eaten anything from his dish yet today and it is 5pm. Though he did get 3 treats for going to the bathroom in the correct place.
He has had 3 stools since we got him, 2 of them were diarrhea and the other (he had this inbetween diarrhea stools) was what I would call normal. He has been relatively playful but he slept from 10am-4pm straight today and is just lying around now. And he doesn't seem as interested in his toys as he was this morning or yesterday.
Should we be worried?
