I still can't believe he is gone... It's so weird that Baxter is not here anymore... I think about him all the time, all the memories come flooding back over the past four and a half years... I just can't believe he went like he did... A month ago we were out on the trails hiking and exploring, in June, he went on our camping trip, we had had so much fun this summer and he loved the winter months, so we were looking forward to that and on Sept 7, 2007, I buried my beautiful boy... He was 7 1/2 years old...

Rottie.. I am so sorry to hear of Baxter's passing. I wish I could just give you a hug and tell you everything will be ok but I know that doesn't stop the pain. I still miss my heartdog after 2 years. Just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and that Baxter was an amazing dog. I am so glad the two of you found one another.
