New and confused
I am having a great time on this site even if I dont really have a clue what I am doing or what all the terms mean. IE: what is a thread - I dont know if I am responding to a thread or speaking directly to whoever is at the other end of of the reply button. I guess I am showing my age !!! The icons are cute. If I make mistakes forgive my or better yet show me how. As far as pets go we have Rigel an 8 year old lab mix. Louie a 14 year old lab mix, Acadia a 3 year old cat, Geddy a 7 mo old kitten, Squidbird and Sirrus the parakeets, Shelby and Monty the two turtles, Steve-o the skink, Little guy the tarantula, lots of saltwater fish and coral, and lots of guppies, plus a Russian Tortoise house guest. It seems we are the minority around here since we dont have a Pit Bull !!!

Hey, k9teacher -- you're doing well so far.
 A "thread" is a topic of conversation, and they are grouped into catagories. Inside each thread are "posts", which is how other members reply to the thread topic. Just poke around and experiment..... How are Rigel and Louie doing?!? Oh, and welcome, folks!
