my 9-month old terrier mix puppy, lolly, loves toys. the problem is, she loves them so much that they don't last very long. we've had better luck with hard rubber toys like kong, but has anyone found a stuffed toy that lasts a little longer before the squeaker/stuffing come out? it seems like we've tried them all - the cheapies, the beanies, the akc toys - and she's usually able to pull them all apart in less than an hour. any recommendations would be appreciated.

My dogs have that same problem Lol but they LOVE squeaky toys. Have you tried the Wiggly Gigglys? They are not stuffed but they make a funny noise... sometimes I feel like I play with them more than the dogs Lol :p

The AKC (American Kennel Club)ones are amazing. You can get them at Walmart or Zellers anywhere between 9.99- 19.99CAD. You can get things like sheep, squirrells and even a bluejay with a tennis ball in its tummy. You can get them all in different sizes too. Steel has had his AKC toy or a while now and that too, is alive and still kicking-- it has actually been through the wash a few times, too. Kongs are good too. Put peanut butter or cream cheese in the kong and when it offers hours of doggie entertainment for both the owners as you watch them try to get the pb off the roof of it's mouth and the dog gets a tasty treat, to boot.

I bought some that has mydogtoy.com on them - which apparently are Tuffies. This is the only toy, including kongs, that my 2 year old dog has not been able to tear apart or pull the squeaker out. They come in small to very large (dinosaurs). I picked them up at a dog specialty store.
