Alright, after much deliberation, we finally chose the new pup!

Although I originally wanted a black & tan pup, both breeder and I decided that this black & white boy was a perfect fit. His structure is absolutely wonderful and he has more substance then any of the other pups there. His movement is sturdy and sound, although we will both be watching the next couple weeks for anything that might tell a different tale.

I got first pick, and after speaking with my breeder and a few other TM experts, "Atlantis" came forward as the front runner. He is the pick of the litter and the best pup out of both litters (well, him and another little girl that I didn't want because it was... a girl... lol).

He doesn't come home for another few weeks, but now I can actually fawn all over him from a distance!

Just thought I would introduce the little one!

I am actually going to keep the breeders original name for him, but we are thinking for his call name:

Dexter

I want to wait until we get him here before I know for sure.

He is a cutie. I bet you will get alot of people who mistake him for a newfie pup.
I just want to bury my nose in all that fluffy puppy fur lol.

Originally that is what I was afraid of with a black & white pup, but hopefully people will see the white on his chest/paws and even his little goatee and realize he is not a newf!

Even if not, he is still going to be my walking marshmallow cloud of joy!:D :D :D

My smooths get mistaken for all kinds of things all the time. You'll get used to it.

Really? I always thought Collies (rough and smooth) have that distinct look. I guess you can mistake the smooths for a cow dog perhaps, but that is hard to believe!

We get the "isn't that a collie aussie mix" alot because of the blue merel. Most people only think collies come in sable and white. But we have heard in the past greyhound mix, and those catoula whatever they ares. It's pretty funny at times.
