Subject: ALERT ILLINOIS Needs Help INSURANCE BILL HAS BEEN INTRODUCED
PLEASE CROSSPOST To all you know. (EVEN friends who do not own an animal) Remember that people are giving up their animals (to shelters and pounds) and in some terrible cases euthanizing their pets because they cannot risk going bare and not have insurance on their homes. We are trying to get homeowners liability insurance reform in EACH state. Illinois and Washington are the first two this year!!! The more states that have it the more it will become the norm.

Homeowners Liability Dogs has just been submitted to the Senate by Senator Harmon in Illinois.
SENATE BILL 1279 (SB1279)
Each person that lives in Illinois needs to start calling their Reps and Senators and ask them to PLEASE sponsor this bill with Senator Don Harmon. Lets not let it die in committee.
(Senator Harmon is the man who has worked so very hard for dog owners in the state and has introduced just about all the good bills in Illinois that we have had for our dogs in the last two years.)
Go to w w w . ilga. gov (take out the spaces when you type this in for your search) and click on Senate then members, and click on House and then members. Each person is listed there by district and you can get their contact information.
