We have a beautiful GS named Tuxedo who is 2yrs. He is a bundle of energy and perhaps spoiled as far as getting all of our attention all of the time. When things get alittle to quiet for him i noticed he tries to stir up some action.
He is quit the character almost like a little kid, he loves tennis balls, swimming, having the inside of his ears massaged, running on the beach and he has been known to give my kitchen broom a good whooping. He occassionally will do these crazy house laps just out of the blue. Then he'll just lay down and go to sleep. He love kids too.
We are spending 4 months in mexico and Tuxedo loves it here as do we. He loves to swim in the ocean everyday and sometimes in the pool if we don't catch him soon enough. He thinks he can do anything we can do and we have to remind him that he's just a dog.
Anyways, he truely is our best friend and he travels alot better than any of our kids ever did. We take him everywhere we go and even at home he comes to work with the two of us, sometimes he will stay back with me in the office but he whines to go with his dad in the truck to out and check on jobs. He seems to be an excellent guard dog also, he is huge and has a big bark and certainly looks intimidating but not sure if he would actually attack anyone. Hopefully we won't ever cross that road.
Just wandered if their were any other GS lovers out there and what your dogs were like? I was thinking of maybe getting a miniture so any info on these little ones would be great. Thanks
