I just got my terrible two groomed, and they did good! It was their first time being groomed by someone else, so I am really proud!

Zero (Beagle) loves everyone, so I wasn't worried about him at all.
Callie (GSD) is generally alright with everyone, but I wasn't sure how she would be if I left her alone and she had strange people touching her and such.

I know, lame post, but I can't help this doggy mom joy I feel right now!

LOL.. It is kinda lame, but I'm glad that they did so well at the groomers today!!

LOL... thanks for confirming the lameness - appreciated!

I think the downside is that they wont leave me alone for 2 seconds since I brought them home!

Aw, you were probably more nervous than your pooches!

What a great chance to take some pictures of the freshly groomed duo (hint hint) :D

yeah, I went in for minor surgery on Tuesday, didn't think I would be up to it for a while, plus I am not supposed to do heavy work of any type for the next two weeks.

Anyway, they are all shiny and I will take pictures soon!

You ok?

Ya know what i really like. the places where you can bathe your own dog. I'm ok with doing the baths but clean up is no fun.

That's how I do mine!! I have a place a few minutes from here that I go too!! I love the concept, and I like doing their baths the way I like without having to dirty up my place...

Im doing fine,I just wouldn't have been able to give the two a bath at home... too much strain!

And I LOVE those places where you can bathe your own dog, but the closest one to where I am in at least 30 minutes away - 1 &1/2 hours in rush hour traffic.

I work at a grooming shop and kennel so I just bring my dogs to work with me at night when I go to walk the boarders- while I'm working my dogs can dry in the big cage dryer.

I'm very picky about the way my dogs are bathed now that I do it for a living so if I stopped working there I'd have to put in a hydrosurge system at my house. xD Grooming, more specifically the bath and drying part, can be a scary experience for dogs and I won't stress mine out if I don't have to so I wouldn't take them to a shop if I didn't know the people well.

Fortunately, except for some trimming my dogs don't need "groomed".

Lucky you, then you probably do it yourself and for free??? Every small thing helps. Yea, mine don't need "grooming" just there nails done and teeth brushed on a regular basis..

I do all of my grooming myself, too. I have wash and wear dogs, though! No hair cutting, very little brushing. Just bath, nails, ears and sometimes teeth brushing.
