Tomorrow, well today actually is the big day and I'm nervous as all get out. Pray for me to keep my calm and cool so Isabella can succeed. I did a run through tonight of all the individual "sections" for CGC and she was hitting everything on point. No slip ups or brain farts for her. Big step for her into becoming a therapy dog... The test is at 3pm.

ROTTWEILERLVR PROUDLY INTRODUCES:

COUNTESS ISABELLA DE LA ROSA, TT, CGC

I am so proud of her. She did so good for me today... My sweet, innocent little girl has grown into quite the beautiful, confident young lady.

Whoopeeee!!!

I want details! How'd she do on the tests? What was her best, any scary moments?

I've been really working to make sure my guys are ready for testing after the holidays. I'd love to hear what you went through so I have some idea what we're up against.

We knew you could do it! And now to get a TDI to add to her name! ;)

Congratulations!

CGC testing is fairly easy if your dog is good on obedience. I used to be an evaluator. You can talk to them, repeat your commands, but you can't use treats or touch them, of course, unless the test section you're in specifically says so. All it really takes is practice on your basics in public places like pet stores. Tyson (in my avatar) has his, and I plan to get my other two done at some point. I'll also be showing them both in obedience.

Yea, compared to ATTS, CGC was a breeze... I like the fact that I can talk talk to her and stuff... We will be doing Baxter soon also. He should do just as well as Izzy. The evaluator said that Isabella is so laid back, and that that was great as that is what they look for in a therapy dog. I was tickled pink... Ok.. I'm done... lol... I feel like I'm on a high right now...

I have never done cgc, or obed really. I did my mom's husky in obed in 4-h as a kid. But other then that just never really interested in it. But i think I want to do rally with my puppy. Any suggestions guys.
