This is why dogs get mean

I'm at work the other day and this guy comes in with a beautiful Pitbull. He asks me if I can look at his nose.I look at the dogs nose and the one nostril is all bloody.I asked him what happend and he said the dog pissed him off so he kicked him in the face, wait it get's better. Then the dog tried to pee or shall I say mark a spot on the floor and the guy gets so pissed he kicks the dog, knocks over a display and kicks the dog again.Well that time my manager saw it and after she gave him a good hard lecture she through him out.Well when he left I guess he got even more mad at the dog and kicked him again.Well my husband was in the parking lot waiting for me,saw what the guy did and got his tag number and called the cops.I sure hope they get this ahole.Me and my manager talked about it and we said we'd both gladly testify to what we saw.I tried talking the guy into putting the dog in training classes and he asked me if we taught them to bite and attack,I told him absolutely not and he said then he doesn't need the classes.I told him I give it a year with the way he treats that dog before it attacks someone,he goes to jail and the dog gets put down.Boy is this world full of idiots.

I wonder if your manager would have tried coaxing him to leave his dog to be groomed and then after he left called the humane society and police if that would have enabled him to be at least fined, maybe even get the dog out of his hands legally.

What did the dog do when he was kicking it? Too bad it didn't just take a chunk out of his leg but then again, the dog would be considered a biter even then and probably destroyed.

He wouldn't have taken him to be groomed. He wanted to spend as little money on him as possible and everytime he kicked the dog the poor thing just dropped to the ground and cowered.I'll tell ya,I came close to losing my job over that one.Luckily I was able to restrain my mouth and keep from kicking him like I wanted to!

If it had been me in your place, I would of jumped up and beaten the living sh*t out of the guy, job be dammed! I actually went to jail once, for kicking the stuffing out of a guy who had found an unwanted cat in the back of his truck. He lifted it up, shook it like a rag, then flung it against a tree. Needless to say, the cat had to be put down, since the impact snapped its spine
It was in the parking lot of a home depot, and I ran up to him, and just started beating on him LOL He got arrested also, after some witnesses told the cops what had happened. I was just so angry, I couldn't think of anything but beating the snuff out of him.

Oh, that would have pissed me off for sure... Not sure what I would have done, but I'm pretty vocal against things I disagree with. It's my achilles heel.. Of course, you guys already know that... lol..

Believe you me I was very close and I don't even know how I stopped myself.I've told people off and threw punches for less.I think the fact that the manager jummped in is probably what helped me keep my cool.Had I seen it on the street there's no doubt I would've went to jail!

Poor dog!!

Can you call Animal Control so they can seize the dog???? People like that shouldn't be allowed to have dogs and that's GOT to be called animal cruelty.

That dog needs to get AWAY from that man. Poor dog

AC can only pull a dog if their is physical proof of neglect or abuse... What happens if he keeps his house in tip top shape and cleans the dog up after the beating? No proof...

I admire you're restraint - I'm very non-reactive but this might have me at least comptemplating some unkindly remarks at least!! That man represents the reason some breeds have a bad name. I hope that the owner gets arrested, and if not - if the poor dog ever lashes out, it's at the owner - preferably targeting his testicles (neuter-by-dog).

I remember years ago some lady with a rottie pup in for vaccines, after the vet telling her how to teach him to not be so "mouthy", reponded by saying "But I want him to bite people!" Dumber than a bag of hammers, and unfortunately it's the responsible owners end up paying the price.
