cute lol. Collies aren't to intresting that way they sleep on their side or on their stomache. They do not like to be on their backs, you will never see one there on purpose.

If I didn't have Sally or foster dogs, I wouldn't think they slept any other way! Unlike Smooth's collies, setters seem to prefer lying on their back.
At my house, there are two ways for dogs to sleep:
1) on their back, privates flapping in the breeze
2) in a pile of other animals

lol... omg.. Is that a cat in a pile of dogs in the first picture??? That is too funny... and cute... I wish I had had my camera out when the little kitties were here... It was so cute how they spawled all over Baxter. There was one kitty, I called him Tux, who loved to sleep on Baxter's neck/head, 2 who liked to curl up by his shoulder/neck area... It was so cute!! The other 2 liked to sleep by the stomach, almost like they were nursing. sigh.. Those were the days... lol... I love those pics, Starfish!!

I don't know which is funnier - the mastiff on it's back or the pile of dogs and cat on the couch!!
Soda Cracker used to have to drag his blanket (from his crate) into the art room to be close to us when we were working, settling under the light table...

A couple weeks ago I fixed his dilema and bought him an "art room" bed, which he loves and uses whenever we're working away on our computers or easels... doesn't he look soooo much more comfortable  (my neck hurts just looking at him)!

That's his favorite shirt. He likes wearing it at the motel when we go hunting.

pbrdog, I wish every hunting dog was spoiled like yours! And I wish every weim got a chance to do what they're bred for. I see so many of them around here and none of them hunt. They're all big neurotic messes. Being a gundog enthusiast, it breaks my heart. What lovely photos and Luke is so handsome!
