I posted already on here in introductions about my Rat Terrier and Maltese. But I thought I would now go ahead and post about my little Lhasa Apso mix girl Sassy that I loved so much. She was put to sleep a month ago this coming Thursday. Anyway I saved her from an abusive home that did not feed her and made her sleep under a shed outside, and never really paid attention to her. I took her December of 2003, but I loved her like I had her all her life. Anyway she had arthritis I had been told by her vet this past January she was only seven. So what happened a month ago I would have never expected. It was late at night time for bed so I got her leash out and tapped it on the floor as usual she came out from under my bed. She liked to sleep there in the evenings and bed at night anyway when she came out she was dragging her to hind legs and could not stand on them at all. I was just shocked because a few hours earlier she was fine. So My husband and I rushed her to the emergency vet. After some tests her vet said she was never going to walk on her back legs again. So we decided to but her to sleep that morning I will never forget it because I knew I loved her but I never relized how much until that morning. I cried for several hours that day and for the next few dyas I cried a little. But I thought since I posted about my other dogs I should do a memorial post for my little Sassy. Anyway going to go now that was hard to talk about even weeks after it happened because she was just such a part of the family. At the end I decided to add a picture of my sassy.

I knew I loved her but I never relized how much until that morning.

Love has a way of doing that. I lost my souldog last December. I realized after she was gone how much I missed every little quirk she had.

It sounds as though you saved her from an awful life and I am sure that wherever she is, her little tail is still wagging when you think of her.
