I'm courtesy posting this for a friend of mine (it's her relative's dog) who is with English Bulldog rescue. Neither she nor I have room in our rescues for this girl but she's VERY urgent and we're trying to figure something out- I'd even put her in boarding but we are heading into the red financially.
You can email my rescue (rescue at starfishtothesea.org) if you're interested. I think this girl is BEAUTIFUL and hey- good with kids, dogs, cats, off leash, what else can you ask for???
Michelle is a 6 year old APBT. Completely UTD ... has 4mo worth of Heartgard and Frontline. - loves all humans , cats and dogs ... no issues - sound temperament. She is soft fawn w/ natural ears. She was rescued as an abused pup and nicely raised with an infant and young children. She walks nicelyon the leash, but she prefers to have a yard to use for the bathroom as she will not go when she is walked. Her family broke up, and her owner did get an apt where she can have a dog, but it doesn't have a fence. She did not realize till she moved that it was such a busy street. Michelle is used to following the kids outside, and they are worried that she will be hit by a car. They tried to get out of the lease but there is no loophole, and the mgmt company won't budge. If the father takes the dog, she will be put in an outdoor kennel and get no interaction except for alternating weekends when the kids are there... The grandmother is watching the dog temporarily and wants to put her down since she's become an inconvenience...
