hello....
Hello I'm new here and I would really like to meet some people that can share my passion for dogs. My husband and I have 3 right now. A yellow lab who's 4, his name is Drake. A chocolate lab who is 2, his name is Dale and an Irish Wolfhound (the breed I've been searching for...well forever) who is 3 months, her name is Fiona. I hope to make some friends in here!

Welcome! I've got a friend that owns/shows a couple of IW's! They're awesome dogs. How do you like yours so far?

I think they are great dogs. I read about IW's and then went to a couple of shows to see them in action and the second I saw them I fell in love. I settled on a breeder and put my name on a waiting list and here I am! She is the sweetest thing

I had a good friend that had a wolfie years ago but by the time I knew her, he was already an old fellow (7 years) so anyhoo, I would LOVE to see pictures of a 3 month old!!!
And welcome to the forum

Irish wolfhounds are very sharp. I read this book called sight hound and the wolfhounds named was Dante. It was a tear jerker. But a great lesson in love & life.

That's the book I read that made me fall for the wolfhounds! I thought if they're even a little like how they are in the book, I'll love them. They are so soulful. I could look into their eyes forever.

That is so cool. I am glad you read it. He was so strong and would not give up until she found true love. Your so right about their eyes. At times when you look into their eyes it feels like they have seen so many things and been so many places LOL.
Great dogs
