Any ideas how to train a dog to go through a doggie door? My dog is on diuretics and I'm trying to give her freer access to outside. She'll take a treat at the door, but hasn't jumped through yet. We have a new one that is opened by an attachment on their collars.
Georgie came through for dinner when we held the door open, and Molly will freely walk back & forth after getting 1 treat (she'll do anything for food & is generally fearless!). Little Annie just doesn't trust it or the door movement. When she was younger she used to jump through the ones with a flap but we don't want to invite the raccoons & skunks into the house.
