I know.. I remember watching his shows on the Animal Planet... That's soo sad... I didn't realize a stingray could kill you, I though it was like a shock or sting to you... What a aweful way to pass...

Didn't know stingrays had barbs either.

Yes it is sad indeed. It's so unpredictable what wild animals will do. They said he did nothing to provoke the sting ray. Steve was over him and then their is the camera crew. He probably thought he was trapped and stung him. He died doing what he loves and I wish I will be able to go out that way.

I was really upset when I read this. When I was little, me and my brother would always watch his show and we loved it. I used to want to be the Crocodile Hunter, and I still can't believe that my childhood hero is dead I really feel for his wife and two children
