Teething?

Its been so long that I've had a pup. How long do they usually teeth for? :confused:

I don't remember completely, but I think Geiger started teething at around 4 months and lost his last puppy tooth at about 5 and a half months. Every once in a while, I'd see a random tooth sticking out all wacky, and then it would be gone before I knew it.

Yeah, they usually start loosing them at 4 mos and will have all adult teeth by 6 months.

LOL, I misread this as being the period of time a puppy chews and my eyes about popped out of my head when I read the responses of between 4 and 6 months! LOL

My Lucy is almost 6 months now, another couple weeks, and she still has a few baby teeth. I tried desperately to find her lost baby teeth but I never did find one. I still have a couple from my old GSD that passed away last December. It is something neat to keep I think, just like for human kids.

I agree, it is nice to have a baby tooth. I have one of Verucas but Layla had her adult teeth when we got her. I hope to get one of Atticus's :)
