i have a 4 month old pit pup that seems to be growing more and more each day. he has a nonstop scarfing issue and acts as if hes never eaten EVERY time i feed him. the thing is iv started to notice that even though his chest and body keeps getting bigger it doesnt look as if his head and neck are. its almost looks as if his body is too big for his head size sometimes. just wanted to see if any of yall pit or bully breed owners have had this same thing happen, this is my 1st pit so i dont know if thats just a normal thing or not. he weighs about 25 lbs, is approx 15in at the shoulders, 15in head circumfrence, 14in neck circumfence, and 18in length. he doesnt look fat or anything like that but he has a pretty broad chest (21in around from behind shoulders) with long legs. his head size just doesnt look right with him  ... any insight, should i be worried? ill post some pics later on tonite.

Most dogs (especially larger breeds) go through lots of growth spurts that can make them look gangly or awkward at some point. Sometimes their legs will look too long, others their body will look too big. Once he hits about 6 or 8 months that will even out and you'll see more of what his adult features will look like. Nothing to worry about.

I have 3 APBT's, Veruca will be 2 in December, Layla is a little over a year and Atticus is 8 weeks old. When Veruca was a baby she ate like it was going to be her last meal, everytime, lol. She doesnt anymore though. Lay does and she doesnt, depends on her mood. Atticus...he eats like he never has before ;)
I think it just depends on the individual's personality.
As for the growing thing...I've never had experience with that. I am sure with time, it will all even out for ya!
