Doggie Daycare is a trend that is sweeping across north America.

Thousands of pet owners work all day, and this requires leaving your dog home while you work. Often these owners come home to a stressed out dog, and rampant destruction, either of the house, or the yard, and neighbours who complain of barking and howling, due to separation anxiety.

Wow, now out here in this neck of the woods, that would be called spoiling your dog. Mind, out here, letting your dog slep in the house is spoiling him ... but GEEZE! Any one try it? Why? Did the pup like it?

Hi, I'd just like to say that I actually have the pleasure of working at a doggy daycare, and it's really great! I'm not sure which part of the "neck of the woods" you're from (I'm grew up in a tiny city in MI, so I know what you mean), but I understand how you can see it as spoiling the dog. And for the most part, it is a good way to spoil the dog, but it's also healthy for them. They get a lot of exercise, are under supervision, they get to socialize with several other dogs. That's just my opinion though. I do think that some daycares get a BIT carried away...but you have to remember that most of the customers treasure their dogs like their children. I know that I do! :D

I worked at a day care as well. I don't view it as spoiling your pet. Dogs are social by nature. If you're gunna have a pet that you leave alone all day, buy some fish. Dogs, in particular LIKE being with people. People who use day care show me that they REALLY care about their dog's well being. JMO
