I have a cute Canaan/Shepherd mix for adoption(MI or OH only)

Rocco is a Canaan/Shepherd mix. He's about 2yrs old and weighs around 35-40lbs. Rocco is oh so sweet and very playful.......and searching for his forever home ASAP.

I found him on petfinder at a dog pound in Ohio. He was going to be euthanized if he was not adopted. I thought he was sooo cute, and I adopted him knowing I would not be able to keep him. I spared his life, in the end it's all that matters. I drove 4hrs there and 4hrs back to bring him home. I care for him very much and need to make sure he goes to a good home.

I will not let him go out of the state of Michigan.....maybe Ohio but that's it. I am charging an adoption fee of $175. I've spent alot more than that on him and I couldn't afford to. I will also send him home with quite a few things. I was supposed to move into my new place tomorrow, but can't because I haven't found a home for Rocco yet. I am getting frustrated because the basement is flooding in the house I am in now, the landlord won't do anything about it. The central air stopped working 4 days ago, and I have no hot water. It's about 89 in this house right now. I think I am going to go crazy! I am trying to avoid taking Rocco to a shelter...so if you are looking to adopt a dog, please give Rocco a chance. Have you posted him on petfinder again? There is an urgent board you could try.

I acctually did post on Craigslist, thanks for trying to help though. I ended up finding Rocco a home.....to a 14yr old girl who absolutely adores him. She is here at her Mothers house for the summer, but lives with her aunt and uncle up north. I didn't want him to end up far away, but oh well. He will have lots of land to roam on, so that's good. Thanks again!
