My summer loss

I had a 12 year old german shep and a 12 year old rough collie. Untill this summer. It's been the hardest time of my life. The loss of not one but both of my girls. One I lost over mem day weekend and the other this past week. My heart just breaks for them both. I love them always.

I am sorry for your loss. I know it hurts and the loss you feel is often not understood by many people in your life.

I lost my GSD last December. To most she was "just a dog" but to me, she was a part of me. I can remember the years we had together and smile but I still miss her.

The impact our dogs have on our lives is profound. Enjoy those memories, and maybe someday you will feel up to posting a memorial picture of them for us to see.

I feel sorry for you. I still feel very bad about losing my dear old husky last March. It is truly difficult to get through. In time this feels less painful, but it does take time.

Getting two pups has been the only remedy that would help us out. It keeps us busy and they are wonderful- not the same as our old boy, but they are wonderful!
