I just brought home a smooth collie pup. He's 6m old and they best puppy I have ever had. My only problem is that I plan to show this little guy and he's a bit of a scaredy cat. I would like to make him a bit cocky to be real honest. lol. Any idea's other then normal socialization.

Doing obedience and show ring handling classes will be a boost to the pup... use positive training and make everything FUN

Lots of Luck w/ your new pup! Congrats!

Ya that's what I was thinking too. I'm having a hard time finding one that has an all breed conformation class. I'll have to keep looking.

What state are you in?

You can also try looking into AKC clubs in your area they often have classes

Agility is also a lotof fun and I'm sure your pup would enjoy that as well

I'm in IL in the suburbs of chicago. I found a club not far from here, but they are a german shep club. I'm waiting to hear back from them about the possibility of going to their conformation classes. I do plan to do agility after I finish him.
