Two months ago I let myself be talked into taking a 3rd. dog, and I shouldn't have done this. Wolfie is a 4 yr. old lovable Shepherd / Husky mix, medium size, great with adults, children, our other dogs, and (I was told) good with cats. She is well taken care of, spayed, has all shots, worming, city license, computer chip, etc. She wants to be petted, and follows you around like a dog (how about that??).

She comes with the usual hard luck, tear jerking rescue story -- she was neglected and rescued a time or two, the last rescuer died suddenly, a family friend who adopted the dog could no longer care for it, and I eventually took her. I soon realized that between my two dogs, my two children, and my small home, this wasn't working. The bottom line is that she needs to be re-homed.

You'll love her personality, but she has two problems that need attention and that I can not deal with. She was supposed to be fully housebroken, but after two weeks of great behavior, she reverted to having occasional accidents. And for her safety, I can't leave her in the house while we are not home, as she sometimes climbs the furniture or scratches doors. When she almost chewed through some medicines on top of a high credenza, seemingly out of her reach, I realized that I couldn't leave her in the house without us there. For us this is a real problem.

So if you have a suitable home and can help give her the attention and training that she deserves, please contact me. You'll be paying a $75 fee, which will be donated immediately to the local dog charity or pet adoption agency of your choice, for which you will receive the receipt.

I'm in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles. Thanks.
