I got Bo when he was 1 and a half from a family who had him in the city and didn't have enough space for him. They put an ad in the paper and I answered. I was very happy to give him the home he deserved and they were thrilled to find him a much better home. They still come out and visit him every so often and have come to see him in a couple of Launch competitions. It was a great way to get a best friend.

I got Scoop this way, too. A friend of a friend of a friend. It has been great for me and for him.

I got Pepper in a similar way. He kept running away from home and hiding in my work parking lot. I kept taking him home. When his family moved, they asked me to take him, since he already liked me.

Chloe was taken in this way. Great way to acquire a new dog. You get to see how the animal is treated and acts at a comfortable home setting and also you are saving the dog from going to a bad owner or possibly the pound. On top of that, it makes the original owners feel that much better being able to keep track of the dog I think, we send pictures of her and videos of her playing as often as we take them :)
