Although I was too young to remember you I will always have you in my heart. My parents had gotten Skippy a Shetland Sheepdog the same week we had moved to CT. I was still less than a year old, and Skippy was 7 weeks. That same month we got Missy a Shetland Sheepdog as well. Missy was more my brother's dog but Skippy was the family dog. Skippy and Missy got along great. Nothing could stop those two from playing in the front yard till days end. Unfortunately Skippy chased more than just Missy. Whenever Skippy saw a car zoom by he would chase right after it. For a month my parents got frustrated doing everything they could think of to keep Skippy in the front yard, but they never got an electric fence. So one day Skippy got his wish and chased a car without interference. He was hit down the street and killed instantly. The person who hit Skippy brought the dead body to us and we buried him in the back yard. We didn't make the same mistake twice and we got Missy an electric fence. Missy is currently 11 years old and going strong.
