I Am Kind Of Confused Also. If She Is Holding It To Wait For You Then Great!! I Think All Dogs Like To Sniff And Play Around Before They Go Pee. Our Bulldog Has To Find Jsut The Right Place Even To Pee. And They Shouldnt Be Rushed. You Wouldnt Like To Be Rushed Either. YOU NEED TO ALLOW ABOUT 10 MINUTES EACH TIME YOUT AKE HIM OR HER OUT. IT NEEDS TO BE FUN TO BE POTTY TRAINED NOT A DRAG. IF IT IS A DRAG THEN YOU ARE GONNA HAVE MORE PROBLEMS THAN YOU WANT

Listen dammit before you saying im rushing

I Take Her out for atleast 30 mins let her play and then she comes to the door and rushes in when i open it.

Then in the morning she stands by the door first thing acting like she has been holding it in since last night

No need to get all testy- we just couldn't understand what you were asking!

Well, I have two comments for you. One is, when you take her out in the evening for that 30 minute romp- don't play with her. Let her go potty first. Ignore her completely, otherwise she'll get into the habit of playing and not pottying. Once she's done her business, then it's ok to play. 2nd thing is, it's perfectly normal for her to need to go in the morning like that. Even if she did go last thing before she went to bed, that was 7-8 hours ago, and that's plenty of time for her bladder to re-fill itself. Much like ours does during the night- most people have to go first thing, too. She's probably standing next to the door because she DOES need to go, and she's figured out that she's supposed to go outside- this is a GOOD thing! Let her out when she does it- encourage it- that way she'll keep telling you when she needs to go out. good luck!

For that statement you think before you rush sir. Yes she is acting like she is holding it first thing in the morning she has been holding her pee in for a couple of hours I am sure. Or do you set your clock and get up threw the nite to let her go potty? If that is the case then I rushed in answering you. She is walking back and forth becasue she needs to go out and potty. Thats a good thing. She is showing you she needs to go out. Your lucky at a young age she knows where that door is to want to go and potty :) .
